Only the documents can be displayed in the viewer pane on the right side.

Collapse: A click with the mouse on the "-" next to an entry and an open branch will collapse

Display of Service Literature

The handling of the service literature documents itself is as easy as the navigation to them.
After a wanted document is found in the navigation tree, the Adobe Acrobat Reader will open automatically in the right hand viewer pane. Detailed operating instructions of the Acrobat Reader can be obtained from Adobe directly or via the built-in help function. Below is a summary of the most important functions which are needed for the efficient usage of the Service Information.

Per default, the bookmarks from within the document are shown next to the window with the document. Because a document can consist of many pages and thus it may become time consuming to get to the right location, the bookmarks provide short cuts to specific sections.

Illus. 3: Bookmarks

The bookmarks are organized like the documents in the table of contents. A mouse click on the "+" next to the entry lists all bookmarks of this document. Another click on an entry will automatically open the document at exactly this section.

For a better display of the document, it may be helpful to hide the bookmarks now. There are 2 possibilities to hide them:
a) click on the folder tab marked "Bookmarks" (only with Acrobat Reader 5)
b) click on the
circled icon

Illus. 4: Hide Bookmarks
Select a convenient zooming factor.
Usually, the icon in the toolbar for the window width (circle) is the ideal zooming. However, it can be adjusted as per individual preferences.

Illus. 5: Zoom

This can be done by at least 3 different ways
  • Moving the sliding bar on the right hand side via the mouse
  • Clicking with the mouse on the icons in the tool bar
  • Pressing the "Page down" or "Page up" keys on the keyboard

Illus. 6: Navigation tools
Print a document
